Email Address: reggin17@consolidated.net Have been a fan for a l-o-n-g time. Purchased all the vinyl I could find in the 80's. Ed's diversity as a singer/songwriter amazes us all. Since I live in TEXAS, I've always favored My First Taste of TEXAS. Watched Watched "Maverick" just to see (and hear) Ed. Hadn't heard about him in years. I was listening to one of his BIGGEST fans on the radio this morning...Bill Cody...and he mentioned this e-mail address. Continued success, good health, and happiness to you and yours, Ed. You have brought your fans an abundance of good listening, good acting, and just good times.

Email Address: bamabubbette@yahoo.com Ed, Words cannot express our gratitude for the support from you and Judith during Mama's death. Being allowed to play In The Garden and The Lord's Prayer (two of her favorite songs) at her funeral was one of the last things I could do for her. She loved hearing you sing...you were such a blessing. She knew you walked the walk and talked the talk. We miss ya'll being close, but hope you are enjoying the farm. Come see us! Love you both!

Email Address: Steven@atlantamusicgroup.com Hi Ed,
So happy your career is sallying forth. Still making it to the Vol football games?

I remember a night at the Cattleman's Club in Knoxville, 1979-80, you had arrived from Memphis. After the lights went down, we sat at a table and talked song shop. Then you sang a tune you were working on "Red Doggin' Again", asking for an opinion. One of my memories of Ed Bruce in Knoxville. Thank you for taking the time to spend with this (at the time young) songwriter/musician on a professional and personal level, and for your inspiration that remains today.

You're a gift to us all. May the hands of God ever hold you in his keeping.

Email Address: captain@twinmounds.com Ed,
I was introduced to your music as a young child. Today something sparked a memory and as I went searching I discovered I no longer have those tapes. I was dissapointed to see that not all of your past recordings are available. So now I'm listening to "clips" that are available online. I was not, however, dissapointed to see that you are singing Gospel. I've always appreciated your talent(s) and now I'm excited that I can listen to you singing music with salt & light. <><

Email Address: rschwarz@qis.net I did get a response to an earlier posting so I know a bit more(Thanks Norma) but I'm still trying to find info on the Ed Bruce mystery disc "Set Me Free" that is not listed on this site. Perhaps it was an unauthorized recording? If so, I apologize for bringing it up here. I don't mean to offend anyone. I just REALLY love the music on that disc and want more of it in any format.
Here's what I know:
- Possibly recorded in Ed's Nashville bar
- Possibly material taken from older LPs
- Probably Ed playing guitar
(thanks Norma)
-Relased on Kingfisher label 1997 distrib. by Ichiban records

Is there any more material like this available? (More songs from the same recording sessions)

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.

Email Address: tomchard@yahoo.com Ed ... Thanks for putting out the Gospel Album. I don't have it yet, but will ask my wife to get it for me.
Any chance any of the material from that project will show up as "accompaniment tracks?" I'd sure love to sing to 'em!

Before The Lord got ahold of me, I was a drummer in warm-up acts around Texas, playin' before your concerts ... all through the 80's. Now, I sing/play in Worship Services, out here in "Mission-Country" - CA.

God Bless Y'all!
