Email Address: bj@gigos.com I fell in love with your words and voice when I started doing Country DJing in Castle Rock, Colorado in 1978...guess that dates me, but my husband and I have followed your career every since. We loved "Trucking USA" and all the other movies and TV shows. Thanks for more music. Your words paint pictures for the soul. Thanks and never stop. We could use another Cowboy song out here in Colorado...they all seem to be loosing the essence of what a cowboy means...no cowboy oath or codes to live by anymore. Thanks from BJ the DJ ... :)

Email Address: rker301158@aol.com Dear Ed, I met a man named Kevin Raney and Paul Richey at a friends house and started a discussion on the Lord. So they took me out to the truck to play a few tunes from your CD. My favorite is Jesus loved the hell out of me and I took it the next day to plug it to a country artist Josh (long black train) anyway, they loved it so much they asked to listen to the whole cd. I had no idea who you were but they filled me in that your a legend:) My personal testimony came out this last Sat. in the Faith and Values section of the Tennessean.com key word "slavery" or "Rhoda Kershaw" I would love to hear your testimony:)Anyway, I will keep you posted if I get a hold or a cut on your song in which I feel very confident about:) God Bless, Rhoda

Email Address: marytmorris@yahoo.com In the early to mid-1960s Ed did some records that really didn't take off, but I had a few of his singles that I loved. Where can I find a list of the singles he recorded...I finally got a 45 record player...and can't find the records!! Thanks.

Except for my favourite n1: Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys. I learned it through GTA San Andreas and since then, i'm a huge (what do i say ??? THE BIGGEST) fan of good old Ed's songs... Chapeau to the maestro (as the french would say ;-)

Email Address: luecross@hotmail.com Thanks Ed for calling Roy Suddeth. He was so happy you did. He went out on Saturday PM to see you but you had left Longview already. He said tell you he hoped there wasn't a major problem that caused you to have to leave and he was sorry he missed you. Thanks again for calling him.

Email Address: annalouise325@aol.com Dear Mr. Bruce,
I have a question for you about the song you wrote, "Northeast Arkansas Mississippi County Bootlegger".
I was told that it was written about a man named Melton Felts, who was from Mississippi County {Bassett and Joiner} and a wellknown bootlegger in his day. He was my daddy's uncle.
Can you shed any light on if there is any truth to this? I would muchly appreciate it. Thanks...look forward to your response.

Email Address: luecross@hotmail.com The website is very nice.I also would like to tell Ed about a fan of his. I took my friend Roy to see Ed years ago in Tyler, TX. Up until that time he didn't even know his name.Since that concert he ranks Ed Bruce has his favorite artist. I was excited when I heard Ed was coming to the Longview, TX. But when I checked on the ticket price for the event I was very sad. Roy and I are both retired and cannot afford the large ticket price. I know it is for charity but when you are on a fixed income like we are the price is just too high. If Ed has time while he is in Longview I would appreciate it so very much if he could call my friend Roy. He would really be shocked! His telephone number is 903/759-6215.

Email Address: homersm2001@yahoo.com Hello
I am working on a rockabilly documentary based on its history with Character Driven Productions. One of the major parts of our documentary will be to interview some of the key players. I know Mr. Bruce had an early career in rockabilly, namely recording for Sun, so I was wondering if he would be willing to give my film crew a short interview? They will be starting in December on the West Coast. They assure me that this documentary will be televised. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact my partner at (610) 590-0444 or at shawn@characterdrivenfilms.com. Thank you for your consideration.
